These hats are a great way to use up left over sock yarn. They are made in the round using modular diamonds and triangles, knit together as you go.
Finished Circumference Measurements: Baby/Toddler 16", Child 17.5", & Adult 20". They are all very stretchy and fit larger heads. For instance, the adult hat easily fits a 22" head.
Yarn:
Baby/Toddler hat requires, 1.10 oz, five colors of Lang Jawoll Superwash and double pointed needles. Child hat requires 1.55 oz, two colors of miscellaneous left over sock yarn and can be done on 16" circulars and double pointed needles. Adult hat requires 2.75 oz, Lion Brand Magic Stripes sock yarn, color 201, "Denim Stripe" and can be done on 16" circulars and double pointed needles. The adult hat took slightly more than 1 skein of Magic Stripe yarn.
