This sturdy and stylish every day purse is made of double strands of Peruvian Collection Highland Wool.
The braided strap and flap edging use single strands. Start with a garter stitch bottom and pick up the sides in the round. The strap is three colors of I cord, braided together and sewn to the purse before felting. The asymmetrical flap with buttonhole is edged with three rows of single crochet in the colors of the braid.
Felting is not an exact science. Your final dimensions may vary slightly.
