They are made in the round with garter stitch bottoms and stockinette stitch bodies. They are topped with ruffles and have buttonholes to thread the I cord drawstring.

Yarn: Mother’s purse uses worsted weight wool, 760 yards (695 meters) for the main color and 170 yards (156 meters) for the contrast color. Daughter’s purse uses the same yarns, 400 yards (366 meters) for the main color and 140 yards (128 meters) for the contrast color.
