Left over sock yarn is transformed into this attractive and useful sack purse. It is not felted.
Use small amounts and mix colors with abandon. The bottom is done in the round in garter stitch. The body is also done in the round, in stockinette stitch with a slipped stitch pattern. Mix yarns as you please. The purse closes with an I cord drawstring threaded through buttonholes. Then it is topped with a ruffle. The purse can be soft and drapey. It should be stabilized on the bottom and lined for stability. Directions are included.
